Vi Tuong Bui (she/her) is a queer photographer and film maker of the Vietnamese diaspora based in Lenapehoking. Her work is in 16mm and she’s interested in exploring non-linear modes of time, memory, and Vietnamese queer decolonial futures ꩜꩜꩜

She was a 2022-2023 Production Workshop Fellow at Third World Newsreel. During the summer of 2023 Vi was an artist in residence at Casa Do Xisto (Barcelos, Portugal). Vi teaches 16mm color film making at Mono No Aware.

She supports the movement for a liberated Palestine.
